Warranty and Care

The Keep Out Legal Warranty lasts two years and covers any factory defects and not wear and tear, improper use of the item, attempts to repair the item or neglect. Each damaged piece of jewellery must be accompanied by a certificate of warrant with the date of purchase. The manufacturer reserves the right to check whether the damage to the object is due to a manufacturing defect.
Keep Out uses only pure silver, one of the most beautiful lustrous metals. With proper care, silver will retain its beauty and its character for many generations.
Pink and black rhodium plating is guaranteed for 6 months and is naturally subject to fading due to skin acidity, sweating and natural salinity.

The First Rule for Silver Care

Silver oxidizes, especially when exposed to brackish air and sulfur-containing products, such as rubber elastic and some types of paper. However, silver that is regularly used usually requires less care, for this reason Keep Out strongly recommends using or wearing silver every day.

Wash Silver

Silver is oxidized, especially when exposed to brackish air and sulfur-containing products, such as rubber elastic and some types of paper.

To begin with, apply the product with a soft cloth or a sponge. Rub each piece gently, but firmly, in the direction of its length, with linear and regular movements. For decorations and edges, you can use a toothbrush (such as a toothbrush with natural bristles). Wash in soapy water, taking care to remove all the product. Rinse well in warm water, dry thoroughly and polish with a soft cloth.

Silver Polishing

Use a quality cleaning product. You should avoid products which contain aggressive chemicals. Electrolytic cleaning (aluminum foil, salt and bicarbonate in aqueous solution) is not recommended.

Special Considerations

The "oxidized" effect is the intentional blackening of the cracks in the decorations of a silver object, to accentuate the details. Care should be taken not remove the finish with too thorough cleaning and polishing.
